Welcome
In the heart of the countryside near Lake Garda, the Convento dell'Annunciata of Medole, founded in 1455 and owned by the same family since 1828, is the ideal venue for wedding receptions and an excellent choice for anyone looking for a historical setting which combines the magic of the past with a contemporary touch.
THANKS TO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MEDOLE TOWN COUNCIL, IT IS POSSIBLE TO CELEBRATE CIVIL WEDDING CEREMONIES INSIDE THE VENUE.
THE SIX-HECTARE PRIVATE GARDENS FORM A WONDERFUL LOCATION FOR WEDDING CELEBRATIONS.
Event preparations are personally supervised by the Architect Giovanni Ceni, who specialises in the restoration and improvement of period homes, and the artist Dario Zani who has created unique, atmospheric outdoor lighting and furnishings for the gardens.
The villa at the Convento dell'Annunciata is an elegant, charming, relaxed location far from the ostentation and contrived luxury which is so often seen in today's wedding industry. You can enjoy the atmosphere of a lived-in home instead of feeling that you are in a restaurant or hotel the same as any other. The Convento dell'Annunciata venue does not place any time limits on its guests and never hosts more than one wedding on the same day.
The extensive gardens of the villa and the cloisters make a perfect backdrop for open-air wedding receptions, making use of both indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Convento dell'Annunciata can provide a variety of quality catering and banqueting options, to suit a wide range of budgets. Food can be prepared on site in the villa's professionally equipped kitchen.
There are various good hotels near the venue where wedding guests can stay after the reception.
The Convento dell'Annunciata venue is located in Medole in the province of Mantova, a few minutes from Castiglione delle Stiviere, Desenzano del Garda, and Montichiari and Verona- Villafranca airports. It is about half an hour by car from Brescia, Mantova and Verona. |
